Explosions and gunfire have been reported in the capital city of Sudan, Khartoum, with almost one hundred civilian deaths from the fighting that started on Saturday. The fighting is between Sudan’s head of the military and an anti-government paramilitary group name the rapid support forces or RSF for short. The Leader of this group has called for international intervention, he claims that he is waging a war for true democracy. Low-flying military helicopters have also been spotted over the city which may indicate further conflict in the war-torn country. Many African countries have called these incidents a mockery of the whole continent.
